I don’t know but something about this approach sounds just plain mean and uncaring to me. I never did any of this and i had 2 hyperactive boys, lots of crazy activity but no tantrums, ever. Or whinging. But i always respected my kids emotions, no matter how inconvenient to me at the moment. Why would you let someone sit in their own vomit? Ignoring big emotions, imo, just gives the message “your feelings don’t matter". But im no expert.
